the Exhibits

More than 20 organizations collaborated to produce the first ever North Texas WWI Centennial Commemoration exhibit, and educational resources. To connect multiple generations, and enhance the community's understanding of the Great War's impact on the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

100 years ago the Great War changed North Texas' landscape, culture, and global perspective drastically in a short time. Transforming cowboys, and others into soldiers to support the war effort in Europe.

This effort is part of the larger Texas, and National WWI Commemoration events over the next three years starting in 2017.

Check out the Featured Exhibits with a wide range of topics, which will be open to the public from July 9th, 2017 to October 20th 2017 at the Fort Worth Central Library
